Press release no. 132/12

The two events - organized by Artenergy Publishing and Fiera Milano-Cipa - reported a significant participation of visitors, who really appreciated the quality of both the exhibition area, as well as the conferences. The next editions, which will take place from 17 to 19 July 2013, already have the confirmed participation of companies present at this year’s event.

EnerSolar+ Brasil, the first international fair for the photovoltaic, thermal and CSP solar industry in Brazil, and Greenergy Expo Brasil, the international fair dedicated to biogas, cogeneration, geothermal and hydro-electric energy, biofuels, waste treatment, ended in San Paolo with excellent results, confirming the importance of a project regarding a fertile market such as that of Brazil.

The quality of visitors satisfied the more than 150 exhibitors from ten different countries: alongside Brazil, of course, Italy, United States, Germany, Spain, China, Switzerland, Portugal, Luxembourg and Cyprus, were all represented.

"This is the right time to invest in Brazil. We have, in fact, already opened an office in San Paolo, and we also have several clients in the area of Bahia," explains Michael Göser of Gamesa. "EnerSolar+ Brasil has therefore been an excellent opportunity for us to develop further our businress in this country, which is destined to grow over the next few years. We are really pleased with the event both with regards to the numbers and quality of visitors that we have met, as well as for the perfect organization. We will therefore certainly be taking part in next year’s event."

"The Brazilian market is finally ready also thanks to the federal government’s regulatory actions, now moving in the right direction. For some aspects, the present situation reminds us of Italy ten year’s ago," says Maurizio Sartorello of Enel Green Power. There is a lot of enthusiasm and here at EnerSolar+ Brasil we have found what we were looking for: qualified operators, new and interesting contacts, and organization. We will therefore be exhibiting at the 2013 edition."

The number of registrations already received for next year have led the orgaizers to reserve a second pavillion, setting the bases for an even greater success.

"We would like to thank the qualified visitors and all those who believed in the fair right from the beginning, starting from the exhibitors," says Marco Pinetti, president of Artenergy Publishing. "Considering the excellent results obtained, we look forward to meeting at the second editions. All those who have contributed in the success of EnerSolar + Brasil and Greenergy Expo Brasil 2012, in fact, have already confirmed their faith in this ambitious project, to develop together for the good of the international community and future generations."

A project which, in 2013, is forecast to have an increase of 50% in exhibition area, also thanks to the important potential of the Brazilian market, destined to grow rapidly thanks to the thrust of government initiatives, which aim at promoting the constant growth of renewable energies. This sector, in fact, is an important asset for the country and the government has already decided to invest about EUR 200 billion in new projects in the near future.

Based on these results and basis, and the considerable interest at this year’s event, the next editions of EnerSolar+ Brasil e Greenergy Expo Brasil, which will take place from 17 to 19 July 2013, in San Paolo once again, are, even now, set to be important opportunities of business.
